YOUR BOOKING AND DEPOSITS


The party leader must be at least 18 years old and must be authorised to make the booking on the basis of these booking conditions and general information contained in our brochure, other literature or on our website, by all persons named on the booking.


The party leader will be responsible for making all payments due to Jersey Odyssey Limited.


Following receipt of your enquiry we shall enquire / make reservations with the respective Providers, subject to availability, and upon written confirmation of these reservations a deposit is required within 14 days of the date of confirmation invoice.


Please check the confirmation invoice upon receipt and notify us within 10 days if any of the details appear to be incomplete or incorrect as it may not be possible to make any changes later, particularly with regard to the accommodation reserved.  We will do our best to rectify any mistake if notified within the
time limit.


WHEN THE BALANCE IS DUE


The balance of your Activities booking is due 6 weeks prior to departure. A final invoice will be forwarded prior to that time but no reminders will be sent. If payment is not received in full by the due date we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking and will retain the deposit paid.


The balance of your accommodation booking is due in line with the Accommodation Provider’s booking conditions. This will be notified to you on the invoice.


IF WE CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR ACTIVITY BOOKING
The Activities are generally weather dependant. If conditions are such that a particular activity cannot be undertaken we will use our best endeavours to find an alternative. If no alternative is available we will refund the cost of the aborted adventure.


IF YOUR ACCOMMODATION BOOKING IS CHANGED
We will undertake the initial contact, provisional reservation and forwarding of your deposit for your  accommodation provider to confirm your booking with them. We will not be responsible for any changes or other arrangements you may have with the accommodation provider direct.


IF YOU WISH TO ALTER OR AMEND YOUR BOOKING If you wish to change or amend any of the details of your original booking we shall do our best to help but would appreciate at least 4 weeks notice in order that we may contact the Providers and try to accommodate your changes.

 

ACTIVITY PROVIDERS’ CONDITIONS
With the varying nature of the Activities please note the conditions required by the various Activity Providers which will be advised to you with confirmation of the activity booking.


THE ACTIVITY PROVIDERS
We will use local Activity Providers with many years experience in their chosen activity. We will use our best endeavours to ensure that they are all qualified / affiliated to recognised bodies, be fully insured and licensed where required by the Jersey authorities. Whilst Jersey Odyssey Limited will make the booking with the Activity Providers on your behalf, once the activity has commenced the responsibility for your safety, wellbeing and enjoyment will be with the Activity Provider and not Jersey Odyssey Limited.


THE ACCOMMODATION PROVIDERS
We will do our best to ensure that the accommodation provided meets with your expectations, is fully insured and registered.  Jersey Odyssey Limited will not be responsible for any dispute you may have with the Accommodation Provider.


ON YOUR ARRIVAL
A Welcome Pack containing your tickets for the various activities and other local information will be handed to you on arrival or left for you at your accommodation. If any changes have needed to be made to your activity programme due to an adverse weather forecast, this will be clearly notified.


OUR PRICING POLICY
As we shall be undertaking your booking direct with the Activity Providers, our prices will be at the cost price the Providers would normally charge to which is added a small booking fee.
A booking fee of £3.50 per person per accommodation reservation with a minimum total fee of £25 per holiday booking is required together with a payment protection insurance premium at 1% of the total booking will be included in your invoice. A charge of 2.8% will be added to the Invoice for payment made by credit card or 2% is made by debit card.


TOTAL PAYMENT PROTECTION INSURANCE POLICY

The Total Payment Protection Policy is provided by Travel and General Insurance to protect any monies paid in advance to

Jersey Odyssey Limited.
PRIVATE TRAVEL INSURANCE


We would advise personal travel insurance be taken out with cover for activities if required.
